I believe that preserving our past and planning for our future go hand in hand. As development continues across our Town, we have a responsibility to make sure progress doesn’t come at the cost of the places, stories, and character that define who we are.

In recent years, we’ve seen historic homes and landmarks disappear—sometimes without much conversation or care. I believe the time is now for the Town of Lexington to take a more active role in identifying, honoring, and protecting the sites that reflect our community’s heritage.
