Economic Development

Our elected officials make critical decisions regarding zoning, new developments, infrastructure, traffic, and parking, all of which play a vital role in the Town’s economic development efforts. These development decisions shape the quality of life in the Town of Lexington, and must be a top priority for our leaders as the growth of our community continues to accelerate.

Through the administration of high-quality constituent services, the provision of attractive amenities, zoning that supports both growth initiatives and the preservation of historical sites, and through targeted public-private partnerships, Gavin believes that the Town Council can and should take an active role in generating and supporting smart economic development initiatives that improve resource allocation, service delivery and the lives of residents.

Further, Gavin believes we must focus our Town’s economic development efforts on competing in a global economy, and that we must embrace entrepreneurs to help grow our Town’s economy and create new, high-paying jobs for the residents of our town. By pairing these efforts with investments in programs that train our workforce for the jobs of tomorrow with a small business-friendly climate, Gavin believes that the Town of Lexington is poised to enjoy sustainable, long term growth in the years to come.
